Muttley Poppins® is run (and walked!) by Dorset born-and-bred walker, Naomi:

Growing up on a farm in North Dorset, Naomi has 30+ years of experience in exercising her family's working dogs, alongside time spent caring for other animals - including horses, livestock and more recently, cats.

Qualified to Ofqual Level 3 with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and certified in Canine Behaviour Training, Canine Psychology and Canine Nutrition, plus Pet First Aid, she endeavours to create a great understanding and bond with your pet. Currently studying at Level 5 to specialise in Applied Animal Behaviour, Naomi also works part-time in Client Care for a wonderful veterinary group. In what started as a hobby, she's been walking dogs for others since 2018.

In all weathers, Naomi loves the outdoors. After a busy teaching career - whilst taking time out to focus on raising family with husband Sam (+ two lovely labradors) - she found herself running 'Naomi's Cakes;' baking occasion cakes for family and friends. They went down well; but demand was building in the kitchen and the outside kept calling - time to down tools (or whisk!)...

Walking her own dogs daily in lovely locations, Naomi thought she may as well walk others too... helping friends and local pet owners out in the process. A good friend, Gayle, amusingly likened her to a well-known nanny of the silver screen (except for dogs) and Muttley Poppins® was born!

Muttley Poppins® Dog Walking and Drop-in Services are DBS checked, registered and pet business insured.

Naomi is a Member of the Professional Dog Walkers Association (PDWA). With a background in primary school teaching... these days the dogs are her class! 🐾
